We proposed an approximate real-time evolution operator for potentials using a single ancillary qubit and demonstrated its application to first-quantized Hamiltonian simulation. This technique has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency of Hamiltonian simulation in near-future quantum computers, and its practical application is expected in fields such as quantum physics and materials science.
